Mine isn't a 5000, but I like my Quick Track receiver better than a couple of the other brands I've owned. Although I don't have to use it very much anymore now that I have GPS. If I had to buy another Telemetry box, I would probably get another Quick Track, or maybe a Marshall if I had the extra cash.

ive used them since 2001 and ive had very good luck with them. Ive had two one was in a accident or foul play and i bought a second. Blue box is more accurate but ive tracked with my blue box on range. Cant go wrong if you have buddies with other freq. Adam

5000

We bear hunt in Wisconsin and my friend has one. I asked him if he had any complaints. He said he has none. Before I bought my Quick Track 6000, I called Quick Track and asked the questions about the 5000 and they recomended that I buy the 6000. But after seeing the 5000 work, I would have been happy with that also. The 6000 gets a little more range where we hunt and thats about the only difference
