I raised three litters out of Stylish Harry and two different females. I started pups out of every litter. I thought Harry was the #1 reproducer of balanced coondogs I ever bred to. His pups were not for the once a week take it easy coonhunter though. They were very hard hunters that would never check back in. When I cut them loose I got them off the tree and they were covering ground fast. Not racing dogs but they did that by themselves. Very fast track dogs with a cold nose. I don't mean a track wallerin cold nose but a drifting type dog that worked forward, not back and forth. Hard pressure treedogs that were accurate. they had above average mouths. The things that stood out most to me and made them great were extreme desire to get a coon treed fast and the ability to do it. And stamina to give away, you couldn't hunt them down hunting them every night.
