Gyp Eats her pups

I have a real nice bred Bluetick female that I would love to raise some pups from. The problem is that she eats her pups. The first litter she waited until they were three weeks old. The second litter, she cleaned then real good ant then ate them the next day. Is there any thing that I can do to STOP this....

you might put a muzzle on her while you are not with her. my neighbor has a collie that has eat three litters of her pups all of them , but has rasied two litters and never eat a one of them , the last litter she eat they were over 4 weeks old and eat all 5 of them in one day . does any one know why a female will eat one litter and raise one ?
