How Long Of A Chain

HOW LONG OF A CHAIN DO YOU ALL THAT TIE YOUR DOGS USE. I HAVE A FEW HOUNDS THAT ARE CHAIN RUNNERS AND RUN THERE WEIGHT DOWN ON A LONG CHAIN. I HAVE SEEN PEOPLE USE SHORT CHAINS BUT I WANTED TO HEAR WHAT YOU ALL THINK. THINKS

If i have to use a chain,it's usually one that is 15 ft long.

I AM

IN THE PROCESS OF BUILDING A NEW KENNEL SO I AM HAVING TO TIE MY HOUNDS FOR NOW TILL I GET IT BUILT IT TAKES A BIG AREA TO TIE 8 HOUNDS ON 15 FT OF CHAIN EACH LOL. THANKS FOR THE HELP

When I chain one.....

I keep them on a 7 foot chain. I dont allow them alot of room to run around, they can do that in the timber after dark. We mostly keep ours in pens though. We mostly use the chains to help break a pup to lead.
