i bought a pup from a guy i've comp hunted with a couple times. seen him hunt and hunted with both his male and jip dog male is colored nice sounds awsome fast good coon hound grand on bench and nite hunt and same with all about the jip. pleasure hunted some with him and finds out he breed the two so i got a male pup. why not the pup is pretty. hunts hard and for a year old works a track like i would be askin him to if i was trainin him.(some take longer than 8 months ) but anyway he has a prob with leavin the tree. i can fix that. all is good and well went and picked his papers up yesturday.. this is what made me mad. a year old this guys still got puppy papers on him. not only that but filled out in his name and everything. it gets better. the date was from when he was 3 months old......what do i do???? any other way besides haven to send them off twice once to him then to me or is there a smarter way??????

there used to be a paper he could sign and you could send in and still get it put in your name,,
best to call ukc and explain to them what happeened,,

i'v seen it before to,dont like it,but it is pain,,

just call ukc and they will tell you all about what to do..happens a lot..

Had that happen to a buddy there is another form that you can have UKC send you and just fill it out and send it in with the puppy paper. It cost like $15 dollars I believe. But it can be fixed just got to call registration and get the paper. Best of luck to you
