UKC in hunt tests

I am new to hunt tests and would like to get started after being an avid Duck and pheasant hunter for the past fifteen year. My question is there are not many akc licensed events in my area (Iowa) and I was wondering do my AKC registered dogs have to be UKC registered to run in UKC hunt tests? thanks shane

Can't tell you if there are any AKC licensed events in your area since we are not affiliated with them in any way. If you're interested in UKC Hunting Retriever events go to http://ukcdogs.com/hr/ Everything is there for you including the link to upcoming events. Good luck and let us know how you like our tests! You can try out hunting retriever events without being registered but if you want any points you earn, your dog must become registered. Thank you for your question. Download our single application at: http://www.ukcdogs.com/rg/pdf/fo6adm.pdf Be sure to read all instructions carefully. You will need to download the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader if you haven't already. If you have any trouble email me at sjonas@ukcdogs.com
