Picked up a used Astro the other day and am having problems with it.

The GPS itselfs works fine. Gets me out of the woods and hardly ever loses signal. Yet, when the collar gets more than 100-150yds away(like across a field) or 50-75yds(in the woods) it stops picking up the collar.

There is nothing wrong with the collar as its a DC-30 we have been using with other systems.

Its is an older unit and came with the old style collar.

Any help would be appreciated!!!

That way, you could eliminate the collar as the culprit.

Sorry i forgot to mention ive tried 3 different collar that work on other systems with it and its the same deal

He talked to me about it before you got it from Al, Russ, but I don't know if he's talked to you or not. Somebody was having this same problem and they said they went online and updated the system (I think it's free) and it fixed theirs

Someone tightened the Antenna too tight and broke it. Have to send it back and be Careful putting Antennas on and off, just barely tighten them.
