hunted bear in maine for ten days this last season and they killed 27 bear in 10 dayes and no littel ones eather.that is where he tunes up his bear dogs at befor season comes in in nc.david.ps he has hunted there all his life and said the bear keeps getting thicker

we have transferd the brookton downeast houndsmen association to calais maine.we hope to have better turn out and pull some of our canadian friends to our events.we also thought of holding big game event to help tune in them young dogs before bear season.our first ukc event of the year is april 24 in calais signs will be posted.If anyone has any ? they can call me at 1-207-271-0610 for directions.there will be bench show,field trials;treeing contest;speed to tree;and night hunt;the water race will start the next event.any suggestions?

brooks maine here. hollaback- you probably dont remember me but my buddy and i bought a female named ivy from you a few years back. well atleast i think it was ivy haha. i brought my cameron male with us. he was a pup. he didnt hunt her at all. i wasnt too happy with him but he still has her.
hes doing well. hes really starting to turn into a fine hound. he was a little slow but the more we have him out the better hes done. shot a 30 lb cat in front of him the last week of the season. sending him away for a month to run bear in west virginia. that should bring him around and have him ready to go for our training season up here. i just purchased an 8 month old cameron/sugar creek from a friend of yours in new york. hes bringing her up with him on friday this week. i cant wait. how did those two females turn out that you had? the ones in the pen on the left. i think you said they were half camerons or something?
the only female that i have right now is a lil female.that is out of my Ranger dog.'pr'hollaback allblue dirtygirl she is a 8 month old that is doing real well.she has had 3 in three days.so far so good.
That female should cross up real nice with the male you have.hope she works out for ya.hope to see ya at the events this year.Albion is the 17 th.downeast houndsmen assn, is the 24 th.we have a real nice spot for the events,lots of people are excited to blow the dust off there dogs from this winter.
