local fellows brought up a female to get bred yesterday,they arrived right at dark.the wind was gusting about 25 mph and a freezing drizzle was coming with it. ben didnt quite find the groove the 1st time or two and we were going to take it inside outta the weather(oh yea,forgot to mention that we had unleashed ben so they wouldnt tangle) we all walked into the garage then we realized none of us had him lol he left his girl for the woods! no tracker--the wind hammering. after better than an hour driving around the section we could hear him and took us 2 hrs to find him under the bacon.think he needed to get the edge off as he sure didnt have any trouble getting the female bred when we got him back lol
any more it worries me to no end to have a dog hunting without a tracker on it
