... WINTER STORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM THURSDAY EVENING THROUGH FRIDAY EVENING...

A MIX OF RAIN AND SNOW IS EXPECTED TO CHANGE OVER TO ALL SNOW... OR A MIX OF SNOW AND SLEET... LATE THURSDAY EVENING OVER THE SOUTHWEST AND CENTRAL MOUNTAINS OF NORTH CAROLINA... AS WELL AS THE MOUNTAINS OF SOUTH CAROLINA AND NORTHEAST GEORGIA. SEVERAL INCHES OF SNOW IS POSSIBLE... ESPECIALLY ACROSS THE CENTRAL NORTH CAROLINA MOUNTAINS AND THE SOUTHERN ESCARPMENT OF THE BLUE RIDGE.

HE'S BEEN WORKING LIKE A MAD MAN.

THEY TOLD HIM THIS MORNING HE WILL GET OFF AT 12 AND COME BACK IN AT 8 AND GO BACK ON NIGHTS.

HE HAD BEEN ON NIGHTS SINCE LAST FRIDAY.

WED, AND THURSDAY WERE THE ONLY 2 NIGHTS HE GOT TO STAY HOME.

HE WAS JUST GETTTING USED TO NIGHT SHIFT AND THEN GOT SWITCHED BACK TO NORMAL, NOW BACK AGAIN. HE WILL BE LIKE A ZOMBIE.

Well I just looked at the Weather Channel and Theirs just a Big White Blob Forcasted over Us with Unknown Acualations !!!! lol

"Guess" go From 16" to 40"

Their Predicting 12" + all around us Except for the "WHITE BLOB" area ..

Tried hunting my dog in this snow last night and was the first time he hunted in snow. Needless to say he didn't do to great but I will give him credit for trying. kept loosing track could have been cause the snow had been melting fast or he just hasn't grown into a coondog yet.

We do get some snow in the SOUTHERN BLUE RIDGE, but nothing like we have had this winter. We normally get 6 to 10 a year if we are lucky, this has been a freaky winter. We have had 3 big snows 15in. one time , 15in. another time, and 12 in. another time. As soon as it would melt about off, here it would come again. THIS IS VIRGINIA WHERE THE SUNNY SOUTH STARTS, AL GORE IS A NUTT. PLEASE LORD JESUS LET THE SNOW END!

Took the kids for a ride on the snowmobile last nite, woke up this morning and the tracks were covered up! And there was no wind.
I figure 11in! And fluffy! Now the wind is going to kick up today!
Can you say blizzard!.............no! "Global Warming!" lol!

.A COLD FRONT WILL CROSS THE REGION OVERNIGHT BRINGING MUCH COLDER CONDITIONS TO THE AREA. SNOW WILL INCREASE OVER THE MOUNTAINS... MAINLY ALONG THE TENNESSEE BORDER... WITH VERY STRONG WINDS DEVELOPING EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING.


I DONT KNOW WHAT IT IS BLOWING NOW BUT IT HAS SHOOK THE TRAILER A COUPLE OF TIMES!!!

its bad here tonight this is the worst winter we have hade in a pretty long time snowing and now sleet and you would need rocks in your pocket to keep from blowing off i just let the dobie out to pottie and it was hillarues it blue her butt all most around on the porch befor she could get in the yard to do her buiness,this is the onley winter i have dreaded in probley several years here,david..ps and at 3 o clock todat it was 36 nice out then it went to this fast

A WINTER STORM WARNING FOR HEAVY SNOW ABOVE 3500 FEET REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO NOON EST MONDAY. A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW BELOW 3500 FEET REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO NOON EST MONDAY.

ANOTHER SYSTEM WILL AFFECT THE SOUTHERN APPALACHIANS STARTING THIS AFTERNOON. A BAND OF SNOW IS EXPECTED TO CROSS THE REGION TONIGHT... AND EXIT TO THE EAST BY EARLY MONDAY AFTERNOON. LOCATIONS ABOVE 3500 FEET IN SWAIN... GRAHAM AND NORTHERN JACKSON COUNTIES WILL SEE 3 TO 5 INCHES OF SNOW. TEMPERATURES IN THE VALLEYS WILL REMAIN NEAR FREEZING... KEEPING ACCUMULATIONS IN THE DUSTING TO POSSIBLY 3 INCH RANGE.

Tully we had -15 a couple of nights ago, thought it was warm when I went to feed dogs the other morning and it was only -4. LOL
