The largest the bags come in are 40lb bags...........I get a $1.50 off each bag when I buy 13 bags at a time where I buy at. I made a deal with them on it if I buy at least 500lbs at a time.

It's cost me $230 and some change for 13 bags. They did tell me a couple weeks back when I bought it that it was going up. Not sure if it is only where I buy it that it is raising the price.

Heard some good things on here about SS's new line so I started testing a few dogs on the SS Advance formula to compare it to SportMix.

So far I been well pleased with it. I have a dog that has Hip Dysplasia and he was one of the dogs that I was testing the feed on before I switched them all over. He seems to have a jump in his step since he has been on it.

Isn't that the way it always goes

you start buying another dog feed for the price and that it is good food and everybody starts trying it and bam. The price goes up. I am back to buying my SportMix 24/20 $23 for 50lb bag lot better fed in my opinion. I did like the Southern States feed but it so far for me to go get it.

Try feeding Hi-Standard. I have been feeding it for over two years and my dogs never let down on the hunt and I feed a lot less with little stool. There coats are shiny and they seem to be a lot healthier. Go to hi-standarddogfood.com to find a distributor in your area.

I feed Southern States 24/20 complete sport.$15.75 a bag, best dog food I ever fed. Can't stand purina or black gold.To expensive for what you get out of it plus their crap stinks on it.I'll stick to Southern States.
