Fog and garmins??

Has anyone noticed where really bad fog may have something to do with signal.. Ive had my for a lil while now and i havent had one problem at all with it.. Alway good signal and always got me closer to my dog or got me to my dog before he got on a road.. I went friday night and it took me for every to get signal on my handheld.. My collar picked up quick. My handheld said acquiring satellite signal.. I tuned it off four or five times and it finally got signal.. Got to where i was going hunting and id looses every bit.. Like loose at 260yds, then pick em back up at 350, loose em again and so on.. Even with my long range antenna.. Then at the end of the night i hardly lost him at all.. But i was extremely foggy. i didnt know if that culd hurt signal.. It was so foggy that the last tree u couldt even shine the tree.

More than likely you'll be sending your stuff back in.

I haven't seen fog disrupt signal at all especially as you explained. It would be best to just call Garmin tomorrow.

Thats

what i thought too jculler but i havent had any problems so it was something that just popped up.. My antenna broke on the coller. I took it apart and un screwed the screw where the connector is and the connector went one way and the antenna went the other.. so i figured it out.. i knew it was the coller aster the other night when my buddy went and i could pick his two dogs up fine and lost mine at seventy yards haha.. Sending it to split tree outdoors tomm.. get a antenna and change the garmin collar to a yoder..
