do the same thing. since oldest was 3 (now 7) he has always trained the dogs to walk on a lead. 5 yr old son does it too. not only does this break the dog, but gives dog and boys relationship. they know they can do this and love the dogs when they accomplish this task. i believe they get the job done because they go in every direction and the dog finally learns it doesnt hurt as bad if they just go too. not to mention being pulled around. the kids will not let them just sit there, the dogs have to walk too.
