Thats what I keep my dogs in. I love them. Clean up is easy and the dogs stay warm in that insulated box. I got the double coondog and I wanna say it was 1400. I know it is alot but it is moveable and sturdy. I move every few years due to my job so this is just what I need.

Just my opinion but, those dont have anywhere near enough space to consider them permanent housing for a dog. A hound deserves a lot more room that what they offer. I would even think some states may consider them illegal due to not meeting the minimum space requirements. Heck, a convict gets a bigger cell than those.

Mark

The add says the double coondog cage is 48"X69"X48" man I feel bad keeping mine in the 9' X 12" kennels Mark that seems way too small I agree with Senor Flores.

Size

I thought the same thing about it being to small. If you run your dogs they hardly ever come out of the dog house. I really think they are more than sufficient if you HUNT............... If you dont hunt you may as well get rid of the dog anyway and not wory about kennel space.

Not trying to hurt any feelings but that is my exp and opinion

I dont think I'd be keeping anything in those cages except maybe a rabbit....or a few quail. Next people will try to squeeze a hound into a big fish tank lol. I'm serious about the law though...might want to check on minimum housing requirements just to be sure. You dont want to spend the money and then get a fine..every state has different laws. I'd still feel terrible, just doesn't seem like enough room regardless of how hard or often you hunt.

i don't think the width is as impotant as the lenth i don't think they should be any shorter than 12 foot long or narrower than 4 foot wide.
plus in nice weather i give them at least half a day on a 20 foot cable
