Question for Sara

My registered UKC beagle had pups and the sire was only registered to AKC. I did not know this beforehand.

Is there any way the pups can now be registered to UKC? AKC? Thank you.

Sure can. The sire and dam must be UKC registered. So since one of the dogs is not, you can single register that dog and then register the litter. That's the cheapest and best way to do it.

Good luck!

Thanks Sara

However, I dont own the sire, so I guess I will have to see if the guy that does, would want to register it to UKC.

Yes, I think that's your best bet. If not, all the pups could be single registered but this costs more. It's up to you how you want to do it and thanks very much for your question and support.
