Single Registration Question

Hello UKC! I was just needing to ask a couple of questions about registering my Dane. When we got her we were under the impression that she was United registered because they told us she was "UKC". Turns out she's UKCI. (A small fib on their part!) Anyways, we want her registered with the right one!! The stud we have chosen for her is AKC/UKC/APA and we want to get all this straightened out before they have puppies. The only problem is, someone told me that you dont register Merles. Is this true? If not then please let me know the quickest way to get her registered. I have her UKCI papers if that's all I need. Thank you so much for your help in advance!

Send copies of your registration and a letter asking for special consideration by our Single Registration Committee. You should also include pictures of your dog. I cannot tell you your dog would be registered because, as you know UKCI is not a registry acknowledged by United Kennel Club, but I can tell you you will be given every consideration and be treated fairly.

Sara, Is this possible with APBT also? I have been considering doing a dual sired litter, The second sire would be an Am Staf. I don't think the owner wants to UKC him. But it may be a possibility that I can talk him into doing the breeding and more so if I can paper the pups with the UKC.

No, it's not possible with the APBT. Special consideration is not given because there is a single registration program already established for this breed. Sorry.
