Lula,MS area

What's the hunting like down there? Big timber, water, lots of coons?

Lula isn't too far from me and I've hunted there a few times. It's in the delta, so its all flat.... mostly good timber breaks between the crop fields, lots of sloughs and old river runs. Plenty of water. There is usually a pretty good number of coons.

No gators as far north as Lula, but the snakes are pretty rough in the summer, just like anywhere in the south.
