And most people do not realize that a federal court in Kentucky recently ruled that pets are personal property not just a piece of meat.

I hope that these ruling holds up and with it being in a federal court it is a ruling that effects us all.

With a dog being determined as personal property it is very likely that this could and should limit what our government can make us as animal owners do with our pets.

I am sure loop holes will arise but so gald that at least one federal judge in this country realized what the truth is and just how much animal owners are being bullied.....

Here is what I don't understand. According to the news article, the owner of that breeding operation was convicted of animal cruelty. So if they can go there, see the operation is unacceptably substandard and get a conviction for animal cruelty, why is another law even needed?
