dont have the new one but i love my 21 volt belt....holds a charge a long time and never had any trouble with it..

ONLY THING I DONT LIKE ABOUT EM IS WHEN YOU CHARGE EM UP DEPENDING ON HOW HOT THE BATTERY GETS IT SOMETIMES TAKE MINE 2-3 HOURS BEFORE IT STARTS BURNING. I CALLED RAY AND HE SAID IT WAS A SAFETY SWITCH HE PUTS IN EM TO KEEP THE BATTERIES FROM BURNING UP THAEY ONLY AA ENERGIZER RECHARGABLES IN THEM AND HE USES THE SAME CHARGER ON THEM AS HE DOES THE BIG 21 AND 28 VOLTS LITES THAT IS THE REASON FOR THE SAFETY SWITCH.
