Anybody???

Went hunting the past few nights and struggled to get a good track. My female has been treeing on fallen logs/trees???

I have never had a dog do this so please any of you had this same problem and what did you do to fix it???

Any advice would be appreciated. I have just been getting me a switch and whipping her everytime. I think it may be squirels because the dog has a extremley cold nose and with the coon not moving I think she is picking up squirel sent. She has never messed with them before though.

Bob Cat's

you know my dog does that, but I think It's bob cats, and he's to lazy to finish the track. so he tries to tree on any thing around.

i would say she is just treeing where she smelld it last. not knowing how old she is or how much hunting she has dah. i would say it is a pup thing.

She just turned two and i hunt her hard but the only nights she does it is when coon don't move good. I guess i will just keep on switching her when she does it.
