Prayer Request for a Burn Victim

A couple of weeks ago, a little girl who goes to our church sometimes was in a house fire and suffered burns over 40% of her body. She is in a burn center in Baltimore at this time. She screams in pain every time they do the skin grafts. This is an awful thing for anyone let alone a 11 year old child to go thru. She has since quit eating. You might say she has given up living. Please keep Kylie in your prayers.

The fire was caused when she was secretly smoking in her sister's room and accidently started the house on fire. Had she did the "Stop, drop and roll" procedure, she might not have been so badly burned. But I think she panicked, which is not good.

This is National fire prevention week. We need to practice fire safety not just during this week, but all thru the year.

Thank you,
PAplott

MANY PRAYERS

...as the daughter of a terrible fire survivor(my Mum was in the Cocoanut Grove fire many yrs ago and is 90 now...) and also the daughter of a cosmetic surgeon who worked VERY hard to help burn victims... I know how awful fire can be. Life long nightmares, scars etc.. I will pray VERY hard that Kylie lose her Guilt and find JOY in life again... May her family hold her in their arms and hearts and let her feel only love. May her loving God bring her comfort and take away her pain. I will GLADLY take some extra pains today if it will ease her pain.

I will have Bob and our family add her to their thoughts and prayers as well.

Heather
