AHA 3rd Annual Youth Educational Day October 17th, 2009

MARK YOUR CALENDARS

The Appalachian Houndsmen Association will be hosting its
3rd Annual Youth Educational Day on Saturday
October 17th, 2009 at the Old Hickory Gun Club in
Ellenboro, NC.

We have partnered with the NWTF and the NRA to offer some more hands on activities for the Youth this year. This is a totally free event and we hope that all the youth for the area will be able to attend.

I will post more details as they come available.

If any other organizations would like to come and set up a booth or do a demonstration of some sort please feel free to contact me. Everyone is welcome to attend and/or particiapte.

thanks Laura,

This is our 3rd year in putting on this event. We have really found a great place to hold the event and they are helping defer the cost to us by suppling all the food and drink for the event.

We are going to have gun saftey classes and the kids will have a chance to shoot an actual gun (22 or Shotgun) supervised by our NRA friends.

Every year this event gets bigger and bigger. We usually have between 75 and 100 kids at this event. We are really excited to have the NRA, NWTF and now the Rocky Mtn Elk Foundation joining us in this endevor. It should be alot of fun no doubt.

BTT 2 weeks away I hope everyone can come and join us

It will be a great day for the kids... A lot of hands on stuff for them to do and It is all FREE!!!!

We will be using alot of organizations to help us educate our kids in alot of areas, gun saftey, wildlife saftey etc.
