lets hear the discussion on real coonhounds hunted in hunts or is their a thing called just hunt dogs ?? can a dog that is considered a hunt dog really even tree a coon or is it just luck when they fall treed on a coon in a hunt??

A dog that trees a coon is never luck (pleasure or competition hunting), unless its just backing another dog that already treed it. If any dog treed a coon then trust me it can do it again.

a "real" coondog will win more than it loses if the handler knows the rules.. imo
