Well it's alot like training a coon dog. At least it's a start. I know there quite a few beagle clubs down in Georgia I've been down there a couple times for some events. Take it out, get it used to being in woods, and try to encourage it on rabbits. Maybe look around talk to some guys, and try to find a starting pen, but it's always more fun to start you're first dog in the wild in my opinion. Google Top 100 hunting beagle websites do some browsing on that, and i'm sure you'll find someone in you're area who might be able to help out!
