well.i don't want to try and sell an akc trail on the ukc board and i am no judge,BUT,what they look for first is in the first 1 hour just listen and determine where the hare is running,they will run that way often so the (judges)learn where they can see the dogs come threw at.they position them selves and want to see 1-whos up front(speed and drive)and who's in the back(pick these up early)the ones off to the side are written down(number)if they are seen there to many times they also are picked up.if the drivers up front continually pull off and swing way out-pick them up.....they try and build the pack from the ones who are WANTING the front but also can give it up and maintain some form of control.
basically a endurance test of 6 hours of running front and staying there without being influenced by the others
extremely tough to pick
its the ultimate in fun though
