Please place them Crappie in a freezer bag before you clean them and ship them to me for bait. Most of the fish in the picture was caught on two Drum we chunked up into cut bait. We have caught a lot of fish on White bass also.

those fish are little compared to the ones I used to hog out of the logs with my G'pa as a kid. We caught several that went over 50 lbs. That's my favorite kind of fishing, down in the water, pulling 'em out with your hands. We called it hoggin, some people call it loggin or noodling too. Anyone else on here catch 'em like this?

By the way, not trying to downplay your catch fellas!! Those are A LOT of nice catfish!! When's the fish fry?

not down playing thought of. I would love to meet people and talk to them that fish and there is a difference in fishing or FISHING.

We have caught 1890lbs to date and before the summer is over we will catch around 7000lbs and if someone catches more than that their busy. We are not commerical fishmen by anymeans we fish Saturdays and sundays and take a few vacation days here and there. there is people right around here that catches more fish than we do but not many!!!!!!!!! LOL

For bait we use what ever we can get our hands on most of the times, perfer cut freash bait of some kind. Carp, Buffalo, Drum, shad. ect. Sometimes when baiting for flat heads along with the blues we will use live bait.

We use alot of jug lines in the lake to this point, our jugs have three hooks spread out from 5 ft off bottom up to where the top hook is about 18 inches under water. most all fish are caught on top hook unless is a channel cat where they are bottom dwelling.

Get out on the miss and fish where the current breaks for the back waters and tie in some lines. but stay near the current. you will catch fish

Take your mud fishing to a fishing site. This is a COON Hunting page. Remember you used to do some of this until the calendar hit May?

I am going to Fall River tonight to hunt Bill by himself.
