Try pressing the shutter button halfway and hold. When the Ready light or framing marks turn green, press the shutter button completely down to take the picture.

YEP. THAT IS WHAT I USE IT ON AT NIGHT. IT'S CALLED ISO IT SAYS USE FOR WHEN SUBJECT IS IN MOTION.

WWWWAAAAAA. ITS DRIVING ME CRAZY.

IT WORKS FINE AT NIGHT IT SEEMS LIKE IT PERFORMS BETTER AT NIGHT. ALL MY NIGHT PICS OF THE DOGS TREEING, I TAKE WITH IT.
BUT IT JUST WILL NOT TAKE AS MANY CLEAR PICS DURING THE DAY AS IT WILL AT NIGHT.

I'M 100% SURE I'M JUST NOT DOING SOMETHING RIGHT. I KNOW WHAT TO DO TO TAKE AWESOME NIGHT SHOTS, THAT IS NO PROBLEMO, AND AWESOME STILL SHOTS TOO. BUT THE ACTION SHOTS BLURR.

HERE IS A LINK TO THIS CAMERA.

http://www.kodak.com/eknec/PageQuer...pq-locale=en_US

I WILL TAKE SOME THAT I HAVE TAKEN THE LAST FEW DAYS SO EVERYONE CAN SEE.

TRIED THAT. NOT AS BAD, BUT IT STILL BLURS.

MAYBE I JUST NEED TO SET DOWN AND READ MY MANUAL AGAIN. I'VE JUST RECENTLY FIGURED OUT THE KODAK PERFECT TOUCH TECHNOLOGY, AND THAT IS AWESOME! MAKES YOUR PICS MORE VIVID RIGHT AFTER YOU TAKE THEM AND SAVES AS A NEW PHOTO RIGHT NEXT TO YOUR ORIGINAL.

HAD THE CAMERA FOR 2 YEARS, AND JUST DISCOVERED THAT YESTERDAY! LOL.

Well Just maybe Time to UP Grade..

You know I went thru Most of the Digital Cameras "Trying to Stay Under the $300 mark But I would take a Few Action Photos and Take them Back to the Store.. It was Driving Me Nuts

Then Tried the Digital SLR and Boom I was Happy Again "Now I Need More" !! lol

Mines about 2 Frames per Second Now I want 4 FSP ... lol

Christy Look at the Nikon D60 Package their Offering them Cheep and with the Upgraded Lens with "Vibration Reduction" (VR)

Mines the D40 but the D60 is Faster and a Bit More Pix.

These 2 Photos are about 1/2 a Second apart "And to be honest I believe I missed 2 Great photos Between them ..

D60 Speed = Burst Capability
3.0 fps up to 100 images (up to 6 images in RAW)

I have a Sony camcorder and my Sony computer has software that turns any frame of the video into a picture. It works well day and night.

try putting it on the ditigal image stabilization mode. mine works best on this setting. it keeps the image from blurring if camera shakes, good luck

Christy,

It may be your battery too. We just upgraded our kodak C330 to a Kodak Z1485 IS.

The C330 used to take pretty good shots, in it's day it was one of the best! But then all the photo's started getting really grainy and blurry during the day. Dark shots and still shots were still ok, but somewhat diminished.

We had purchased two re-chargable batteries when we first got the camera 3 1/2 yrs. ago. Well even the re-chargables have to be replaced ever so often, the man at the store told me at least once a year if you consistantly use yours, and I abuse ours! LOL.

So a new battery in the old camera cleard it up. But still, it was a 4mp... I wanted the new one with it's 14 mp!

Boy are we ready for the Camera coon hunt now! This thing is good. Now if I could just figure out the new Kodak Gallery 7.0 software.. we had 5.0 before. This one uploads super fast, but then after you edit the shot it takes 13-20 minutes PER PHOTO to save the new one.

My mother has a new Canon Rebel, and that thing is EXCELLENT. I just didn't have $700 for a camera and another $300 for a lens!

I'M JUST GOING TO POST A FEW OF THE "WOW. THAT IS SIMPLY GEORGEOUS." SHOTS IT HAS CAPTURED FOR ME. AND SOME OF THE HUNTING PICS.

THEN WHEN I GET HOME TONIGHT, I'LL POST SOME OF THE "DANG IT WHAT THE HECK IS THE MATTER WITH THIS STUPID CAMERA" SHOTS. LOL.

NOW TELL ME, HOW IT CAN TAKE THIS SHOT OF THOSE LIPS AND SLOBBER, AND THEN IT WONT TAKE A CLEAR PIC OF A PUPPY RUNNING BY MY LEG???????

THE ONLY THINK I CAN THINK OF THAT COULD BE MAKING THE DIFFERENCE IS THE FLASH. BUT HECK SOME OF THE CRAPPY PICS I TOOK THE OTHER DAY IT FLASED WITH.

I JUST DONT KNOW!

IT HAS BECOME A LOVE/HATE RELATIONSHIP! SOMETIMES I LOVE IT, SOMETIMES I HATE IT! LOL.
