got a female dog last year, was told she has ran and treed, spilt and held pressure( i trust the man that told me) he said she wasn't consistant at it though.

question i got is how does coming into heat affect a dog, i hunt mostly males. and how much time before coming in will affect or notice a female being goofy.

info giving will dictate her destiny, she will not be bred.

From what I've seen they are all different, but I've had them look stupid a couple weeks before coming in heat, maybe more. Some
don't seem to bother very much. Never really kept track but it
doesn't seem to be as bad after they are out as before they come
in.

If humans act goofy when they start to bleed and horses change their attitude when they come in season, then why should dogs be any different? We have a dog who turns stupid before she comes in season.
