Anybody got a Tracker Xtenna

Just thumbing through april issue of full cry and saw an add for trackers new Xtenna on page 21. Just curious if anyone out there in hound dog land has one or knows someone who does. im trying to decide whether or not to run out and buy the latest gimic on the market. They are advertising it as doubling your tracking range. will this souped up yagi be compadible with all other brands of tracking equipment? It looks like their "amp. " is the same type some guys were using on thier Icom RC-10 boxes over the last few years. Also what about the 5-element regular yagi antennas can anyone give any opinion from expierence on their effectivness v/s the 3- element. Anybody got any other stuff they like for long range tracking? Ive got a hard time chewing on the quote in trackers add "I picked up my transmitter from 68 miles away while on a hill top".Not saying its impossible i would like to have see it though.

the xtenna only works on the Tracker Complete. The booster on the antenna does not have its own power source. It uses power from the 9 volt in the tracking box.I would like to try one as I have a Tracker Complete but the price tag is a little high for me.
