anyone know of a program to crack the password on a 11.1 60 seri d-dec 2 motor??

my semi has one in it and seems like nobody(previous owners) knows what the password is..

now a friend has a semi with the same motor and same problem..

detroit diesel wants $400 to reload a new password ,,i think thats highway robbery..

can anyone help with this problem???

Hi there I have been swinging a wrench on diesels for many years . To bad its not an ol stand by mechanical cummins or kitty. But as far as your Detroit goes and all late model diesel engines if u do not have the password for the brain to change paramiters your done and have to have it rewritten. Oh before I forget $400. is not out of line depending on the computer the dealer has and software from factorycould run up to $10'000 ps keep your injector height correct it will run better and keep your mileage up as well good luck

age of computers,,$400 to reload a $4 chip ,
anything they can do to keep the working man from fixing things thing themselves...
sure would like to rip those computers out and stuff them where the sun dont shine on the deskjockys that came up with the computer run enjines lol......

can buy a used computer brain cheeper than reformating,,lol
heck they want over $7000 to in frame my 11.1 detroit,,a friend just told me where to get a whole truck with 11.1 and 72"pro sleeper for$5000 ready go to work...

other website just had stuff for sale,,still looking for software...
