Why would UKC do this?

Eveytime you click a post, at the very bottom is an ad, apparently sold through Google, for a thing called "Don't Kill Your Dog". It is a rabidly anti-dogfood company trashing all mainstream dogfood companies with a pack of outright lies. The ads are squarely aimed at Purina who is a major UKC sponsor. It sucks that UKC would allow this garbage advertised on their website at the same time they are excepting sponsorship from Purina.

Jim,

The idea is you click the ad, and UKC get's paid for the advertising.

Google Ads will allow the webmaster to "exclude" ads....

http://www.thedogfoodconspiracy.com...s.php?hop=alppc

is the link to the add....Webmaster, you may want to exclude this ad from your Google Ads.

I'm sure UKC did not choose that ad, but instead they are drive off of key words on the web page...dog being one of them, it randomly chooses that ad.

When you have google ads on your site you have the ability to not allow certain ads from a company you don't want to appear on your site through the google ad.

So if these ads are put up through UKC then they can put a stop to those ads appearing.

But they may be running through the host company of the forum.

Added to the block list--it should disappear in a bit as Google updates their settings. It might take an hour or two, tops.

If you see any other questionable ads, just post a thread or shoot us an email and we'll look into it.

You wouldn't believe the stuff that Google initially thought was appropriate for our web site...

Actually I would believe it. Google is well known for being anti-gun, anti-hunting, anti- breeder.

This Andrew Lewis is trying to reap the benifits of ignorance convincing people to buy his book based on lies. I wonder how many copies he will sell. In my book hes a lier and a cheat. Google should raise their standards. Fools I tell ya.
