Bottle raising pups, constipation?

I am handraising a litter of pups, they nursed on dam for about the first day and a half, but I had to pull them off her as she stop producing milk...anyway, I am having problems with a pup being constipated, that little belly will be tight as a drum...I know about rubbing anus with a soft rag that is damp with warm water to stimulate their ability to empty, but it isnt working with this one...from time to time she loses a little, but not near as much as other pups...any help?

It takes a couple days for milk to come in real good, mine didn't have much till about the 3rd day. Go check her again to be sure.

Ok I got a better understanding about the female. I was gonna suggest the syringe and enema, but someone already posted that. I have bottle fed quite a few litters and I had to change the formula as well. That Karo is supposed to help keep them loose, I liked the goat milk in the can the best. The canned version was better for some reason.

It's just a mild clear corn (I think) syrup, find it at the grocry store beside all the rest of the pancake syrup.
