John

us flatlanders can't hunt those billy goat mountains in WV... You need one leg shorter than the other to run around those hills.. Better yet a mule or quad on the logging roads is better.

John you are absolutely right. Ashley is a good guy. Just because someone may have had a bad experience with them one night does not make them a bad person. You guys got too much dog power for me. Glad you had a good time and I was sorry to hear about Trap. They all go way too soon. Take care.

10 in one night in WV, must have been in what I call a "Honey Hollow" lol. The best thing about hunting in West Virginia is when you reach the top of a mountain its only 3 or 4 feet to the other side lol. Here are some pics looking from Virginia into the gates of the the southern part of "Almost Heaven" West Virginia.

I know exactly where you are talking about Coon Dawg, I live about 45 minutes away from that area. I trout fish on the Cheat River a lot during the spring and summer. Its a great river to fly fish on but when it starts raining you had better get out of there because the water comes off the mountains and rises in a blink of an eye.

Shavers Fork is where its at lol. My personal favorite besides Cranberry because a guy can walk miles down stream or up stream to get away from everyone else and still catch fish. They say it is one of the cleanest streams in the world.

John!

I had a nice time. I'll come down in a couple weeks and you all can put me in some water!! Those are some nice pups. Boy, they are loud. Old Rat would be proud!! You take care of those pups. You boys need not call me to go fishing if you all are walking that far back in the mountains!! TOO LAZY for that.

Sorry

didnt mean to make it sound like it was Ashley Dalton, now i look at my post it looks that way, i meant it was a Dalton boy? not sure of his first name he was a young man bout 20 to 30 years old. and he was not a good man trust me! He was crooked for sure. I changed my original post to rflect what i was trying to say. sorry to all the Daltons out there didnt mean to make your name sound like i did guess i cant seem to see what im thinkin when i type it in this computor cause when i go back to read my posts it seems like i am sain one thing when i mean another.
