alrite young dog question

alrtite im hunting a 2 nd a half year old walker gyp real nice treed grandaughter to johnsons delta rebel. she is a real nice split treeing hound completely independent stay put tree dog. the last month or so is the problem she has been hunting out real good better than she has but she locates real hard hear lately nd u think she is treed she will even go as far as 2 start chopping half as then she just up nd leaves. it had gotten real bad the last couple weeks before the big snowfall. i dont know wat 2 do she was doing real good nd being real accurate so i was gonna put her in a few hunts this spring before the crops get on nd if she is doing this i cant have it how do i fix it.

I have a young male dog that did this, but come to find out, he was is being picky about his trees. I think it was a confidence issue. He wasn't sure so he would'nt tree. As he has gotten older and gained confidence in his abilities he doesn't do it as much. He's still picky about his trees and he is rarely slick.
