Biggest Coon of the Year?

What's your biggest coon of the year so far? Mine has been a 26lber. There should be a pic of it skinned out on here if I did it right. Just wondering how everyone has been doing so far. 26lbs isn't that big, but it's not small either.

We treed one that hit 20 lbs on the scales. That is a very big coon for western North Carolina. Most of our "big" boar coon are in the 17-18 lb range.

If I rolled one out of the tree that big here it would scare my dog to death. 20 lb coons around here are very rare. Sure do like looking at those big rascals though.

Yeah you southern hunters need to realize our coon up here do have a bigger frame but the weight really comes from all the fat they are carrying. Literally one inch plus of fat on them to make it through our winters. This week the high temps might not make it above zero. I've held a 50 lb coon treed by Merold Mohni and his B&T's. Saw a picture of a 70 +lb coon in a trapping newsletter. My biggest this year is 34lb.

This one was all of 30 lbs. One og the biggest this year. Poor Doug there had to lean against that tree to hold him up in the air for the picture.

We keep a fish scale in our dogbox and weight the bigger ones we tree. We've had a lot of coons in the 19-22 lb range this season....Biggest was 24 lbs I think.....
