F&l Tracking System - Question

why do they have 2 batteries ?
how do you check to see If your batteries are no good ?
Which way is the stem for long distance and short distance ?

I might be wrong but that switch changes the battery not an intinuater switch. you use your gain nob for range

Edward,
The 2 batteries are so you'll always have a back-up.
The switch is to go from one battery to the other.
The gain is for distance.
If you can't " bury the needle " by turning up the gain , you need new batteries.

Basically Edward , you have two trackers in one. Each battery runs one. If one battery goes dead , you flip the switch and use the other one.

F&L tracking system

Jackbob42, I have a quick track with one battery. got a switch for long range, medium, and close range. and has a switch to cut it on, off, and check battery so I just did'nt know.
