A week ago Thursdsy 1:00 AM heard a sound in the back of my house that sounded like a gun shot! As fast as the first crack came a second and many more followed. Eight to ten inch maple trees were snapping from the weight of this ice. I ran outside to get my hound an fortunately was able to kennel him in the cellar for the night as trees fell.

Our electricity was out for a week. It was reneck showers for a week. Fortunately no damage to my home and all pets and family okay.
I have never seen destruction like this in my life.

I checked out a few off my coon hunting hot spots. Wouldn't run thier now. Too much damage

Glad you're all safe! We were real lucky here and got just about nothing around the Wrentham area....
Got some snow flying out there now for sure...hope that you all stay safe and warm and electrified for this weekends snows!
