Season has already started. Number 1 Iowa and Number 2 Iowa State just clashed with Iowa barely winning. Anybody got any picks to win it this year? I am gonna go with the Hawks winning it and Iowa State getting second.

I watched the match on the Big Ten Network tonite and thought about you Zach. Wondering if you were watching it too. It was really nice to see that big of an attendance. (like that match-up would normally have anyway) 15,955! Though I didn't understand Slaton, he didn't look good at all.

I was there it was absoultly unbeleiveable!! Randy couture,pat miletich and ashton kutcher were in attendance! Have some pics that i will post later! Morningstar once again one of the biggest matches of the night and pulled out the win! God i love iowa wrestling

Jay, I didn't get to watch it because I had to work. I had a friend tape it for me. I had quite a few friends there. One of my buddies had front row seats and sat 3 seats away from Randy Couture. He got his picture taken with him and got his autograph. Cole Sanderson from ISU put a whoopin on a local kid that wrestled for Iowa. Gonna be a great year for the state of Iowa I think. Go Hawks!

John, Okie St. is ranked 9th this year I believe.

Morningstar is pretty good. The thing I like about him is he is getting better and better every year. My friend lost to him in the state finals a couple years ago. Metcalf is just a plain machine, he reminds me of Mark Ironside and is relentless. Slaton was definetly disappointing, I heard he is having a rough time keeping weight. I even heard he might not be varsity for very long. You know you got a good line-up when someone who is ranked 1st in the nation has gotten beat by the guy behind him.

I sure hope they replay it i want to watch that one for sure !When we first got the big ten network me and my little guy looked at each other and sweet!! Finally, wrestling on tv !It doesnt get any better than that !
