What ever you do, don't get rid of them. I've been where you are now. Thought of selling out and letting the dogs go. But in the end, when it came right down to it, I loved my dogs and couldn't part with them.
Give yourself a break, lend or lease them to other people you TRUST and have the worry of their care off you mind for a while. It helped me alot just to have the kids tend them at night for me and only go out hunting with hubby when he was home on the weekends. I now enjoy my dogs so much more, Autumn will be 8 in June and I hope to get 1 more litter from her and my 6 year old male Zam. Dessa will be 2 next Friday and I'm having alot of fun hunting her and showing her. We just got a 12 wk. old Redbone pup, Zoe, and I look forward to getting her going and benching her next year.
Just give yourself a break, relax a bit and before you kow it, the bug to hunt will be back.
