walker pups ???

my walker female had 7 pups thursday,
she was bred 3 times to a walker male ,
all the pups came out all brown with some haveing black ears ,nose and some black on back and a few with white toes and white spot on chest..

not one spoted one in the bunch??
thinking maybe she got plugged by little brothers coppernosed bulldog when no one was around??

if so how long before the pups show the bulldog head size ect.if he is the daddy???

now the bluetick female "blue"been running loose picked the same walker male as her boyfriend and had 10 pups same day, 8 still living last looksee..all look like openspoted walkers till they get their ticks.
no solid colored pups in this litter????

Maybe the coppernose bull dog is not color blind and prefers a specific breed???

A friend of mine had a walker female get breed by a black and tan and had nine of the best looking black and tan pups you've ever seen. All black and tan and not white at all. A solid color is more dominant than a spotted color.

thanks,it must have got lost in the woods,

wish the bulldog had too and not found his way over here.lol.

how long do you think it will be before the pups will show who their real daddy is???lol

i thought they might be throwbacks to the preacher blood but dont think there is any in several gen's,,,

would have thought there would be at least 1 spoted pup not all 7 solid like they are.

angel the walker has 5 out of 7 still living and
blue the bluetick has 8 out of 10 still living

female walker got knocked up by a lab.. i've still got one of the dogs. there were like 6, 5 of them were black, and the other little odd ball looked mostly walker. I kept the walker lookin one. didnt turn out to be a coon hunter like i was hoping( at least not so far, i will keep wasting my time on her i guess, see if she makes something.), But she did turn out to be my best friend, and a good kennel buddy. She looks weird there standing with the blues and uncles black and tans, but shes very pretty. Shed completly pull off the walker if she had some more white.

Yeah Bill, looks to me like old Mr. Bulldog got to her before or maybe after the Walker male did. Those aren't any Walker pups like I ever seen. They won't show any signs of nose length til about 4 - 5 weeks old. Maybe later. Bulldogs can take up to a year to develope their smushed in noses. Since mom has a longer nose, the pups probebly will too. Looks to me like you might have some good gritty hog or bear dogs. Good luck with them.

just a suggestion... have the DNA tested on them. you have access to the bulldog right? might help ease your mind.
