Anyone know of a good place to take a pup to be started in the central Michigan area? Not sure I'm going to go this route yet. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

send a pm over to gary martin. hes in mich and hes a great guy.
he goes by fatblue-2 on this site. he trained a female for me. and his price is very reasonable. good luck with your pup.

Anyone else? How about anyone near St.Johns that has a good pup trainer to run with if you wouldn't mind me tagging along. I have a buddy I can run with but his dog runs silent. I'm thinking my pup isn't getting drawn in to the race since he is quiet.

I kind of busy with this reddog right know, concentrating on him but after the kill season, I would be glad, I hunt around FOWLER but if your just interested in tagging along get me your number and the next time around that way I'll give you call,

Thanks guys. The hound is actually my 14 y/o sons. My dad had coonhounds when I was growing up and always had running dogs to start pups with. I will give you guys a call after the weekend. I'll be out of state for a beagle trial all weekend.
