Muck, Lacross fix

The Mucks and Lacross both have stitching in the back of the heal that tear out. Befor the stitching(or after) has a chance to rip out take clear silicone and cover the stitch up past the heal. Keeps all those stitches in tact. My Lacrassos are 6 mo old and junk, the silicone helps. Mucks arent any better.

I dont know how this thread got off subject lol. I havent looked at my boots but Id say they were made in China, not Japan. In the 80s taking metals class we talked about the worldly market and how this time era would be so, and it is. I buy a Chinese product, make tooling from it and sell it back to China. So we do export goods also. Not near as much as we would like to but it does happen. We can blame Bush, Clinton, Reagan all we want but fact of the matter they are all to blame. Both parties are to blame. You and I are to blame for letting our Gov get by with it.
Anyway back to my boots. Walking up and down these hills the stitching wears out in the back making the boots uncomfortable and hurting my heals. I know others having this problem so I thought I would share a quick fix. You can also buy booties from Valley Creek that will cure the problem and keep you feet dry.

This board really, really does need a spell check option...

What type of La crosse boots are you talking about? I have the burly's and don't have no stitching on them at all..
