Scotts Snuff Or Garretts Snuff-the Sniffing Snuff, Anyone use it???

Just curious for no reason other than i just got to thinking about snuff that you snort up your nose. Curious to know if anyone has seen someone or they themselves use it? I remember when i was a kid old men and woman use to use it. My Grandma did but she dipped it. I have not seen anyone for years use it but they still make and sell it. Thanks, Trott.

i used to chew but i never could bring my self to snorting that crap. my whole family chews or smokes but but i have never seen any of them use snuff either.
straight longcut can or levi garrett pouch was the only way to go.

I haven't sniffed it but I've started a lot of eye washes with it on windy days.

Funny you should bring that up. I was just wondering a couple of weeks ago if they still made it or sold it. I tried it some 35 years ago or so when I was a early teenager. All I can remember about it is it made my eyes water, made me sneeze alot and I blew brown stuff out of my nose for a couple days. It came in a little can about the size of a quarter and somehow you twisted the top and bottom till a hole lined up on the side of it. Cant remember who made it or anything like that. I must not have liked it or I probably would have kept doing it I guess. I kept coon hunting ! LOL

When I was a kid a very looong time ago I would see some old women snort Brut tons snuff. I was in a store about 25 yrs ago and I seen some Brut tons snuff so you guessed it I bought some an tried snorting some up my nose. A very intense pain shot through my temples, my eyes started watering and my nose felt like fire had just been shot up it. Needless to say I never tried that again. All I can say is either I did it wrong somehow or those were some mighty tuff women.

I am gonna go outside and go hunting whether i chew it or not!!! My grandma use to say it helped a tooth ache. I would just as soon use a dentist for my teeth. I still see it in some stores but have not known of anyone snorting it these days, i guess we have gotten smarter through the years. TROTT.

My great Grandma, Muir Walker would use a pen knife and put it between her lips and gums.....Never lose a smidgen.....I've used it to rub and it would be on my shirt, in my eyes and nose and every now and then the dust would roll up in the back of my throat and make you cough which would in turn cause more problems.....Once i got it in my mouth though it was good.
