GRNITECH Crow and Grant's Stylish Spot?

I just a got female walker and she has GRNITECH Crow and Grant's Stylish Spot in her 3-generation. I never heard of him, but the papers said he only produced 38 pups.
Anyone know of Spot? What kind of dog was he?
I'm just looking up some of the dogs in her pedigree and thought I'd start here.

Thanks,
Laura

Laura-

I never did get to hunt with Spot but everyone I have ever heard talk about him said Spot was a COOOOOOOONNNNNNNNDDDDOOOGGG! He would get yonder in a hurry and have the meat. When you turned him loose, he threw gravel, would run track to catch and you were gonna get him off a tree some where. Mike did a lot of winning with Spot but they never did really run him at stud. He was a open spotted dog, hence the name, not alot of color on him. If I remember right I think Tony Cloninger ended up buying him, in fact seems there was a picture of them in one of the coondog magazines in a baseball stadium somewhere at the time of the sale. My memory is going to heck, getting old is not a fun thing! Mike told me a couple of years ago that Ole Spot is one of his all time favorite hounds and he has had some good ones over the years, so that is saying something IMO.

Thank You both for the info! You've given me a nice insight on his abilities and pedigree wise. I'll take this and copy it down it'll help me out for sure.
Thanks!!
