I went hunting tonight about 12:30 am. It didn't take long to figure out I should have hunted alot eariler or waited till anound 4 am.

I sent the old dog up a branch and I finally found her treed about 2 miles away in a grown up cutover. I walked about a quarter mile across a field and another quater or more across the cutover. The mess was about 10 feet high and thick. When I got to the tree I saw the coon and still could not see the dog when I was close enough to touch the tree.

I got back to the truck soaking wet with sweat but it was worth it!

Sounds like one of those nights that I have just about every time I turn loose. Minus the coon. LOL

i went huntin last night too!!! got soakin wet as well lol!!! Traveller aint been huntin in a year and she still beat the younger dogs out of her first litter!!! she is a coondog!!!!
