made a fast one tonight

we went huntin tonight we took 3 dogs Gambler, Tuff and new young redbone we got Friday. we dropped loose about 9 45. the redbone struck something near the truck coulda been a cow a rabbit who knows. lol he didnt get any back up wasnt long he came back. Gambler struck about 10 or so i couldnt hear him real good for the frogs croaking but finally got his location. we loaded up Tuff and the new redbone and drove closer to him. Tuff has been haveing some eye problems Smilin had gave him some eye drops about 4 hours before we went hunting he just wasnt right tonight. Tuff went to him opened some with him wasnt long Gambler was treeing solid. the redbone just kinda hung out with us and followed us to the tree. the redbone smelled around the tree some and kinda meandered about. Tuff just went silent was around but never did tree. i am not sure if the drops effected his nose tonight or what. he is usually smelling in the air and winding but tonight he just wasnt hisself at all. i shined the coon we looked at him caught the dogs up and headed to the house. we was home by 1130 pm. was a decent and fast little hunt. Smilin took a few pictures of Gambler on the tree and tried for one of the dogs commin out the box. lol

commin out the box. < Tuff Gambler in the middle and the redbone lastone out. lol

Gambler treed.

COOL BUG!

That's a COOL picture! Hounds look good too! LOL... I am pretty sure the eye drops DO effect the nose. Tear ducts (some anyway) empty into the nostrils.... you know how we get a runny nose when we try not to cry in front of others and tilt our head back????... tears running into nose...)

I bet once the eyes cleared up the nose will get back to normal.

Have fun out there! HappyHunting, Heather
