Well fellers its all over....in GA
I'm sure most of us had a great year, some more than others. Believe me I fall into the others category but as I sit here at work all I can think about is man I want 1 more night. I hunted 2 Blue dogs 17 mo and 9mo old now and between the 2-3 deer runs and the treeless nights I had a blast. These are the 1st hounds i have trained from the ground up and man i love this sport.
Last night I took both of em out all by their lonesome, well they struck an old feeder track and ran it like pro's, unfortunately the coon was more of a pro. He ran em up a haller over a ridge back down the other side crossed back into the haller he started in and took em all the way to the base of the mountain........to his den......of course... but boy was i proud when i got with in hearing distance they both were blowin the top out! No coon but did it just right...... here are a few pics from throughout the season.
A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who answered questions/gave advice. YOU ALL have been a huge part of how great my season and my hounds have turned out!!!!!
