Brock Lesnar Taps Out 1st Round

Brock tapped out very quickly -------- I really wasn't too surprised.

Round 1 - 1 minute 30 seconds

He got his $250,000 real quickly - LOL

I thimk lesnar had mir hurt there for a minute! His standup wasn't bad at all but he has no jujitsu defense. I was glad to see him get beat and stop running his mouth! Mir brought him back to reality.

I think Lesnar could put on a good show. Just needs to learn some ground and ju jitsu defense/offense. He had me on the edge of my seat till he tapped.

Lesner

I think you will find out that Lesner is a real athlete. He will learn the game & seriously contend, but tonight you could see that he was inexperienced & over anxious. I would hate to have to deal with him if he learns submission defense. He is extremely adgile for a mountain!!

You guys are missing something here. Tim Boetsch was the man last night. He absolutely wrecked that guy he fought, Heath something or other. Knees, teep kicks, repeatedly, and that throw at the end was amazing. Refreshing to see something like that.

To me other than that heel hook, and it was probably a foregone conclusion that it would happen, Lesner was whipping up on Mir. That stoppage was bullcrap for the single punch to the back of the head, you always hear them watch the back of the head at least 2 or 3 times before they stop the action and stand them up. Deducting a point was also pretty unfounded. I wonder had that not happened, would Lesnar have been able to finish, he has side mount and was hammer fisting him into the mat. Mir really was not defending either of the two times Lesner took him down and pounded him. A lot of action for such a short fight. I wasn't disappointed at all. I was pulling for Brock, and I am not ashamed to admit it. He will be back.

BULL CRAP.... the ref letting MIR back up? For one blow to the back of the head. Every other fight in the UFC gets about 15 warnings first. Mazagatti needs repremanded for that. Mir was finished. Brock over powered him and was fixing to smash his face just like he said than Mazagatti stops and lets MIR up and takes a point. This changed the hole pace of the fight and gave MIR time to rethink things which he did good. Gay ref WTF?
