Hunt ? for UKC and others opinion

This is a registered cast:

Two members of the cast came back to the club house. They said the cast was over and the judge had 150+, but he had the card with him. About forty minutes later, the judge comes in with the card. The first two cast members say that they had a ?, but the card didn't have one and the judge said nobody asked for a ? to be put on the card. After asking the members of the cast, they didn't vote on it anyway, so it wasn't considered.

Now here is the problem; the ? was over two said they seen a coon and the judge said he didn't. The two said majority rules. The other said he was the judge and he didn't have to score it if he didn't want too.

At the clubhouse the judge agreed that he did say that.

The judge got mad, began to cuss loudly and tell everyone where they could go, so he is being barred from this club for awhile.

How should the Master of Hounds handle it?
Thank you

I can't see where there was anything for the MOH to handle. You stated there was no question on the card so there is nothing for the MOH to decide. As for the apparent conduct that was displayed after the hunt, that is a matter of concern for the club officials to deal with and it sounds like they did just that.
As for the question about scoring the tree, that one has been answered a hundred times on here and is plainly explained by reading rule 3(a).

?

Have to put a ? on the card or nothing for MOH to talk about. 30 min after the hunt deadline is up you can nolonger file a formale complaint. I guess their is nothing to talk about.

It is the people that dont know or dont follow the rules that always cry they got cheated. If it was a 2 to 1 vote and they let the judge not score that coon than shame on them, but nothing to cry over at this point. Know the rules before you show up.

You are right about the rules. But the judges attitude in the woods and the club house and language in the club house (with alot of folks there)was not appropriate. And the remarks made by him .

Again Rules

If he was that out of line he should have been scratched. Sorry it was such a bad hunt. But the rules allow you to stop that behavior(6.G), if people would use them more often than you would not have people acting like that in a hunt.

Thanks blueballing

The club has handle the situation and I was not in the cast it happen on.(but did witness the judges action)in the club house. This type of action should not be allowed for there are young folks and women there at times . Thanks for your reply you sound like some one a club would be proud to have as a member.

Its

a three dog cast right. Two said they didn't see the coon, and the other the judge said he did. This is not a non hunting judge, so he should have been the one to had to of ? it. This is just a way for a person carrying the card to get away with things like this. He should have been scratch for falsefying the scorecard in my opinon. How come people keep ending up with the scorecard like this, i just don't understand that. JMO Tim
