Had a great time again this year.Reagan Lanter went with us a few dumps.Myself and Alan Wetzel...Alan and I have hunted every opening night for the last 25 years or so.Reagan hunted with us a lot of those nights..Treed 6 times killed 2 we could find and one slick tree....Boy the leaves are really bad this year.Every tree we treed on was full of leave except the slick tree.It didnt have a leaf on it..LOL..The other trees were dens....Tyler hunted with Monte York they treed 3 in 6 trees...They had a real hard time finding coon also......We all meet up at the truck stop on I-70 and 1 about 12:00..Had a great time talking to all the guys.I bet there was at least 20 guys there.We meet like this every year on opening night.A few of the guys didnt get to make it.Because they had to work the next day...Or because they got skunked I bet..........LOL..Tyler and Monte had a few funny things happen to them.Monte was crossing a hot wire fence and said it wasnt hot.As soon as Tylers dog lead touched it. It lite them both up dogs and all...Then they were walking along a fence row with headge apples they kicked a few.Then Tyler kicked on ONE that turned out to be a Baby skunk....They didnt get sprayed ..They also got pulled over by a state cop for a plate light that was out...Monte tells a pretty good story..True or Not...LOL..
